New Graphite Project X Unveiled
Project X introduces the new Project X graphite shaft, the latest addition to one of the most popular shaft brands in golf.
The new Project X graphite shafts deliver similar bend and stiffness profiles as Project X irons, plus with the benefits of graphite. The Project X driver features a firm tip design that yields a penetrating launch and low spin, and its low torque and reinforced cross section provides the most stable shaft performance on tour. The Project X hybrid delivers bend profile and stability enhancements which reduce both directional and distance dispersion, while the design’s weight provides a perfect transition from iron to wood shafts.
Incorporating eight different premium composite materials and five of the most advanced fiber types in the world, the all-new graphite Project X shafts deliver superior cross-sectional stability and maintain the design performance characteristics throughout the swing for consistent shot patterns.
By combining a stable butt section with a constant taper bend profile and reinforcing the tip with two additional wraps of super high-modulus graphite in the lower third of the golf shaft, Project X reduces spin by up to 500rpm over other low-spin Tour model competitors.
Long before they were available for the public, prototype Project X graphite shafts delivered wins at the U.S. Bank Championship on the PGA Tour and the BMW Italian Open and Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the European Tour.
